Application:
IThis product is suitable for adding or adjusting the content of silicon (Si) element in aluminum alloys to replace aluminum silicon intermediate alloys. This product contains over 95% silicon and can be directly added to the melt at normal melting temperature. The melting block (usually less than 30 minutes) is easy to use, and the actual yield of silicon is over 90%.

Usage:

1. Addition temperature: 740°C
2. The reference dosage of this product is calculated using the following formula:

Alloy requires Si content (%) - Si content in the alloy (%)

Si element content in additives (95%) X Actual yield (90%)

× Melt weight

Note: Due to differences in metallurgical conditions between users and furnaces, the actual yield and actual amount added should be calculated and determined based on pre furnace assay data.

3. Joining method:
After all the furnace materials are melted, mix thoroughly and evenly, and take samples for analysis. Calculate the amount of rapid melting silicon added based on the analysis results. When the aluminum liquid reaches the temperature, remove the floating slag on the surface of the aluminum liquid, and evenly distribute the product into various parts of the molten pool (do not stir at this time). After the reaction is complete, let it stand for 15-20 minutes, then stir thoroughly for 5 minutes, and let it stand for 10-20 minutes for sampling and analysis. After the ingredients are qualified, they can be transferred to the next process.
If the silicon content to be added does not exceed 3%, it can be added at once. If it exceeds 3%, it needs to be added in batches to prevent accumulation.

Packaging and storage:

This product is a dark gray white hard block, packaged in cardboard boxes at 10kg per bag, and 20kg per box. Store in a well ventilated and dry place, moisture-proof. Shelf life is one year.
